Wisdom Teeth Removal, Extraction Procedure 

 

A wisdom tooth is extracted to rectify an actual problem or prevent problems from occurring in the future. The removal or extraction of wisdom teeth is performed under local anesthesia, laughing gas (nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia) or general anesthesia.

After the wisdom tooth is removed, the gum is sutured and to control bleeding, bite down on the gauze placed in your mouth. You will rest under our supervision at the clinic after the wisdom tooth removal procedure is completed and upon discharge, we will provide you with a post-operative kit that will include postoperative instructions, a prescription for pain medication, antibiotics and a follow-up appointment in one week for suture removal.
